The backdrop to Winterberries is one of the best ones I've ever seen. Admittedly, as a lover of winter and colder temperatures I am a bit partial but the snow-covered trees with a northern light in the background is simple but stunningly beautiful.
The folklore, well-composed and inspired music, with an added sound of wind in the background brings it all together. It has an addictive tune that unlike many other games doesn't become annoying after a while.
The symbols are made up of an assortment of winterberries. The berries are pretty with their bright advertisement-style, blast of colour. The red and blue variations are the most common berries, whilst the ones that give you the highest reward are the yellow and multi-coloured berry symbols.
